To reduce waste and pollution at our events, Elite Sports does not provide disposable cups at our water stations. Water stations are still available throughout the course, runners simply bring a reusable bottle or cup to refill along the way.
Environmentally Friendly
Running events can generate thousands of single-use cups in just a few hours. Many of those cups cannot be recycled and can end up as litter in our parks, streets, trails, beaches, and waterways. By eliminating disposable cups, we significantly reduce race-day waste and help protect the communities where we run.
Healthier Hydration
Each water station is equipped with a hands-free foot pedal water unit that dispenses 10 oz. per second. Simply bring your own reusable bottle or cup, fill up, and keep running.
Safety For Runners & Volunteers
No disposable cups means no chasing after blown-away litter, fewer slippery hazards on the course, and a cleaner, safer environment for runners, volunteers, and event staff.
